Organizations

This prayer group meets on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the church for the Rosary and prayers and Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Church.  We meet to pray for those in need as well as Bible study.  Our meetings are in Spanish.  We also fund Hispanic Catholic retreats.

The Knights of Columbus is an organization of Catholic men founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity.  The Knights are active in parish work and in the community.  Membership is open to men 18 years of age and older who are practicing Catholics.

 

The Secular Franciscan Order is commited to following Jesus and a Gospel-centered life in the footsteps of Sts. Francis and Clare of Assisi.  Our life consists of Prayer, Fraternity and Working for the Kingdom of God in and with His Universal Church.  The Brother Juniper of the Redwoods Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order meets the first and third Sunday of each month at 2 p.m.  The first Sunday of each month is at St. Bernard Parish Hall in Eureka.  The third Snday's meeting is at St. Joseph Parish Activity Center.  For more information on the Secular Franciscan Order, click here .

St. Joseph's Women's Society is open to all women of the parish.  Our main purpose is responsibility for all altar care in the church.  These duties include purchasing and maintaining all altar cloths needed, including altar servers' robes.  We also provide fresh flowers for all Sunday Masses, Holy Days and events.  We meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. (except the months of June, July, August, and December) in the PAC.  Please come and join us!
